Hello. I’m creating this mesh, but one of the parts (the face of the badger in between the facial features) is invisible, and I don’t know what to do. In blender, the part is clearly solid.
Sometimes this happens. Have you looked in the output to make sure roblox didnt reject it? Sometimes the name of the mesh file will get monetized. If thats not the case what did you press when after you imported it. It prompts with a screen saying something like this mesh has a position data or something like that. Sometimes when i press no it doesnt show up but when i press yes after trying it again it does.
These are some things that have happened to me and might not be the case at all
What do you mean by the output? I used gamedata to insert it.
This always happens, all you have to do is save then restart studio. If it still doesn’t show then try to restart studio once more.
In the top bar there should be a button called view. Click that then in the list find output. Once you do that a new window should pop up. If there is any thing in red about a mesh then your mesh error when loading
Normally when this happens if you just click Yes when the location data prompt happens then it shows up, this has worked for me but it might not for you.
I restarted studio a couple of times, but it did not work. Should I try to restart my computer?
No, that has nothing to do with studio but you can if you want. As previously stated your mesh could’ve got rejected, to check if this is the case. Just enable output.
I did, and there is nothing saying that a mesh was rejected.
Try adding the mesh in once more and seeing what it says in output, it should say at least something.
If not rejected then reload the OBJ and this time clicked yes when the position prompt pops up
I’m useing an fbx file. Does that mean something?
Not sure the difference but it shouldnt. Roblox allows FBX and OBJ Files
Nope. This is where I am importing the mesh from. (is that correct terminology?)
Edit: You can also see there is nothing in the output
Hm. Im almost out of ideas. Lets try one more thing. Instead of uploading the asset from there go to the mesh part Press Cnrl + D To copy the mesh and move it over. From there go into properties and click the mesh ID and upload straight to the mesh. Then when the prompt comes up click yes
Nada.

Nothing in output either? Because at this point i don’t think its roblox anymore.
I’m gonna make a video of me importing it quickly and reply it to you so you can see if there is something wrong I’m doing.
whew that took much longer than expected
Alright I just cleaned up my model in blender, and I found 2 of the same parts, one extruded and one flat, and that was causing the issue. Sorry for the hastle!
