hiya, i’m having issues with mesh shading in studio, could I get some help on how to fix this? as you can see in most places on the “Lights, Motors, Action” text, it’s heavily shaded grey, whilst there some parts that are white.

I’m assuming this isn’t a mesh/texturing issue. It looks like shadows are casted which is producing the effect.
Not sure if that’s all one mesh or not, but turning off shadows of the mesh/s could give you the look you want. You could also add some lights around the model to lighten up certain areas.

Is this mesh from a 3D modeling program like Blender or was the text made using a Roblox plugin?

Was made in blender. I did not make the mesh tho, my mate did.

Did you color the text mesh in studio or did your mate already texture it?
Just want to make sure it’s not a texture issue. The hard color switch on the H seems like differing colors on some end:

Are all the parts of the text that’s supposed to be gray all the same color of gray? Like, the same color3 value?

Yes, the lights motors action text are all one mesh, so it’s just one colour

Hmm, I’m not sure what the issue is. What if you rotate it? Is the shading the exact same no matter rotation?
If not, then maybe something around the text is causing some shadows?

Could you send a ‘rblx’ file with the mesh and whatever you feel comfortable/appropriate with sending?
Also, completely understandable if you don’t want to do that. I could suggest various things it could be, but I think I’d be faster to go through things myself.

I have actually just fixed the issue! It was the yellow framework behind it, it’s CastShadow was affecting the mesh text. Thanks for your help tho
