Meshes look shiny even when normals are flipped


As you can see, the face orientation says that the normals are correctly flipped, since the blues are on the outside. But when I import into roblox studio, the left one comes out very shiny.

I’m not sure what I did wrong, since I flipped the normals and used the mirror modifier but it still comes out shiny.

You’re saying that the mesh that’s colored blue has it’s normals flipped?

it means that if the mesh is blue then the normals are facing outside so the normals are not inverted and are facing the correct way

ok i found a solution, basically what you wanna do is flip the normals like usual, then when you wanna go import it you go down to File Geometry and select Invert Negative Faces and there you go

Oh, I know what the normal colors mean but maybe I just misunderstood what you said.
