MeshPart Color Bug

I was thinking this is a bug, but I felt like I might just be doing something wrong, so I decided to post it here instead.

The UpperTorso MeshPart recolors fine in this gif, but the hands do not. Not sure if it makes a difference, but this R15 rig is extremely large, around 50 studs tall. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Notice when you click the arm it shows “Really red”
I think the shirt isn’t transparent, so coloring it shows no difference.

The shirt is transparent, the skin color shows up fine on normal-sized R15 rigs with pre-colored parts. The same shirt is being used below, so I know the hands are transparent.

Maybe it’s not triggering an update? Could you try cut+pasting the character?

It doesn’t seem like you’re doing anything wrong, so I would move this to #bug-reports:client-bugs

I’m pretty sure the entire arm (including the hand) is colored by changing the color of either the upper or lower arm. If that’s not the case, do you have a BodyColors overwriting it?

Yes, the composited Humanoid texture takes the color for the entire arm is taken from the UpperArm part. You can change the color of the UpperArm and the color of the Hand will also change.

Much appreciated @Garnold & @TheGamer101, thought it was a bug happening.
