MeshPart color(of characters) not changing

  • What are you attempting to achieve? I’m trying to fix my problem which is my meshpart color not changing

  • What is the issue? my character meshparts are not changing when I’m trying to change the color

but when I change the head color it doesn’t change but the left foot changes its color. I don’t know why.

  • What solutions have you tried so far? I tried to re-import my character model but when I tinker with the character it always happens.

From what i know with this, you have to do a Rig to the character because Roblox needs to identify a Skeleton (Rig) to the Humanoid to be inserted or else it will just cause that a mess.

Im just saying, even if i already had this problem. Or rather remove the humanoid if you’re searching to only color the Character.

I already did a rig.

I need the humanoid its an enemy

Hmmm, then remove the rig or humanoid and paint it and then put it back. (I don’t really know what will help Sooo)

I think i know what the problem is if im right this will work
basically when i was rigging my character the humanoid was on r6 i think and i was rigging it to be an r15 but that might not be the problem.

Fix For the moment:
I deleted the humanoid before coloring the character and putting it back again and it works.

Help the problem still persist.

Ok, for this issue, you can probably get a texture ID, that you can make off some photoshop, or designing software. I believe that’s the best way.

For making textures, I reccoment, blender, paint. net (spaced, becauase without space, gives you another website.) photopea, gimp, etc.

Edit: For paint.net, this is the real website.
Paint.NET - Download

Well I was planning to apply a texture anyway but the problem still persist on some parts so I resorted to using r6 instead of an r15 I don’t know why it only happens on r15 tho but i hope someone can fix this problem since I want r15 on my game too for more fluid animation but r6 will do for the moment.

That’s strange…Hm, are they separate meshes?

Well, I don’t know if this works anymore, but if you remove the texture ID, you should be able to change the color of the said Mesh.

I’ve already had to deal with this problem, you just have to remove the union from this piece, change the color and put the union back on the piece you chose.

I dont think I have a union part since they are all meshparts which i made on blender
