Meshpart has a strange checkerboard pattern

Exactly what it says, my editable mesh has a checkerboard pattern that only appears during runtime, while having no assigned texture


Curiously, after adding a white texture to the main mesh(Container), the container gets a checkerboard pattern as well, but the editable mesh is correctly blank. Render fidelity doesn’t change anything

It automatically adds this when it has no texture assigned. This is normal.

yes but how do you get rid of it? it doesnt go away when using materials

so how do I remove it? a white texture makes it really ugly and breaks transparency and material

perhaps you can add a texture and make its transparency to 0?
