Message notifications not disappearing after clicking them

So every time I wake up in the morning and come here to find a I have message waiting for me, I click that. The only thing is, the notification for that message doesn’t go away.

As you can see, I have seen the message, but the notification hasn’t gone away.

Is this a problem with just the DevForum or Discourse itself?

Discourse has a really bad caching problem profile pics not updating, favicon not updating . Refreshing usually solves the issue, but you should report this on meta if there’s no existing report yet.

Actually the profile pictures and usernames not updating is caused by the SSO, but discourse has caching problems regardless.
