Messages Converting Characters Into HTML Entity Numbers

Reproduction Steps
After receiving a message from a user (not website chat) containing certain characters*, they are converted into their HTML entity code. When opening the message for the first time, it will appear normal and without any errors; however, closing the message will cause it to replace the characters* with their entity codes. Note that this does not occur within the message title.

Name Symbol Conversion
Ampersand & &amp
Apostrophe ' '
Greater Than > >
Less Than < &lt;

Thanks for the report, as for now the issue should not be a problem anymore. Can you confirm that the issue is resolved on your side?

The issue has been resolved, however I recently noticed that line breaks do not format correctly in website chat. Copying and pasting multiline text with line breaks, such as code, in website chat appears correctly within the textbox, but will convert into <br> once sent. Ampersand, apostrophe, greater than, less than, and quotation behave as expected.

I see. Can you create a new topic for the new issue? Because the second one is not related to the first issue you had. You can reply with a tag after you post it and we’ll take a look at it! Thanks!
