Download Notepad and right click on .obj file.
Convert the model to triangles before exporting it. I assume you’re using Blender; selecting all in edit mode (pressing A once or twice, you’ll know when you’ve succeeded) and then pressing ctrl + T will do that for you.

The option you’re looking for is called “triangulate”.

cracks are inevitable if your model has any triangles with near-90 degree angles on them. If you really want to you can go through and change them in the model by hand, but it will probably be easier to just slap some objects/decorations over them.
Alright, I think I’ll just avoid nearly vertical planes. Those are not very character friendly anyway.
