I’m MicroK, also known as Mike, and I’ve been playing Roblox for over ten years. I’ve been building in Personal Servers and Studio for over half my life now, and I don’t expect to stop anytime soon!
I currently work with my friends, @Haggie125 and @Alanze under the Secondhand Studios group.

Roblox’s Platform - I’ve been very closely following Roblox as a platform as a Developer for the past 3 years, and have a very good understanding of its community, working environment, and opportunities.

Roblox Studio - I know the ins and outs of Roblox Studio about as well as anyone could, as I’ve been using it regularly for many, many years. This includes mastering workflows for many styles of map building and asset creation. I feel confident I can replicate any environment if supplied with source material for inspiration.

Adobe Photoshop - Along with Roblox Studio, I’ve been using Photoshop for just as long, learning the tools for use in compositing and photography- dipping into design when needed for my games.
I’ve used this to create the UI and site art for all of the games linked below. -
Scripting - I am not a programmer. I can read and write Lua syntax, but my understanding of code structure is basic or intermediate at best.
I’m knowledgeable enough to read and edit modules and scripts I’m given, but that’s the extent of my interest in programming. -
3D Software - Limited experience in 3D software. I’ve only used Blender and Cinema4D briefly.
I am willing able to learn these tools when needed, but so far I’ve found little use for them in my normal workflow.

Retail Tycoon - Designing and making the map, slightly influencing game mechanics, its UI, and then designing and making a few small assets to be used in the tycoon.
To be clear, this is entirely his game and was almost completely finished conceptually before I came onboard.
Additionally, I created all of the site art (badges, icons, thumbnails) for this game. -
Incursion - Incursion is the first game I’ve co-developed. I worked much more closely with my teammates than on RT.
This included assisting in asset creation and optimization, influencing its game mechanics, creating simple animations, and most importantly creating all image assets for the entire game.
Image assets including all of the badges, in-game overlays, custom iconography for all abilities, weapons, and perks. Seamless textures for weapon skins. And all of the site art and advertisements. -
Cruise Ship Tycoon - Cruise Ship Tycoon was the first game where I was on board from day one, working extremely closely together to design game mechanics. I had more impact on the UI design and how users interacted with this title, making quite a bit of the UI, directing the in-game style, and creating all of the visual effects.
I designed and made quite a few in-game assets, and made all of the Islands you see in the game.
Similar to the previous titles, I created all of the image assets for this game, including the site art and advertisements. -
Retail Tycoon 2 - Coming full circle, my most recent project has been working on RT’s sequel.
Involved in pretty much every single step of development, including designing game mechanics, completely directing visual style, creating all of the visual effects, and influencing a large part of the UI.
Like previous titles, I created all of the image assets, site art, etc. for this game as well.
- Availability
With Roblox as my current full-time job, my hours are extremely flexible.
- Payment
For designing assets, I prefer payment per-asset.
If I’m doing substantial design work for a game, I prefer a percentage cut.
Prices are entirely negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
