So I’ve been working to help a friend optimize his game and lower lag. I decided to try out the micro profiler and noticed this these huge spikes in the rendering group
I opened a blank game to try and compare the Performance/Scene/Id_Transparent bar to this one and found a huge difference.
Really I just want to know if any of these bars are a good contributor of the lag? And what I could do to help fix it. I’ve looked at some of the scripts in the game and optimized what I could but I’m fairly sure its a rendering issue because he has a lot of trees (if you couldn’t tell from the photo)
I’ve changed all meshes I could to Automatic render fidelity
