Mid Vampires Survivors parody game demo

About

The game is pretty much a parody on vampires survivors game.
You have to live for 3 minutes and then kill a boss, which you have to do 3 times in a row.
During the stage a bunch of enemies will spawn that you have to kill, each enemy has a chance to drop gems that give you experience. Upon collecting enough EXP you level up, which allows you to pick 3 random items or upgrade existing ones.

Despite having 5+ years of scripting experience (still an amateur), I’ve barely made any game due to my perfectionism (i barely could get any of my games to prototype stage), so I decided to finally make something even if it’s trash just to get some experience in game devving rather than scripting.
What I’m trying to say - the game is very laggy and buggy and a bunch of balancing issues and poorly coded in general I’m sorry please don’t judge :c

Some info about the game
  • The game might be very laggy (a BUNCH of memory leaks)
  • You can open a cheat menu debug menu by pressing ~ (self explanatory)
  • You gain a bit of health upon leveling up
  • You can have max 12 items.
  • Enemies drops are random and different, some might not drop anything and some might drop something that kills everyone.
  • Linked Sword is the best starter weapon (in my opinion)
  • Epic Glasses and Psycho Mask weren’t tested so it’s not advised to use.
  • Kunai + Epic Sauce = op

Since I’m not going to do anything with this game anyway, I decided to uncopylock it in case someone will find it useful (one man’s trash is someones treasure or something like that)
