I was planning on making an India military base since there are none, and I do have quite a bit of coding experience.

Flags might be fine, but anything else might be in the grey zone.
Advertising everywhere, literally.
Youtube, Ads, e.t.c, just getting the word out, and getting to know other similar groups/games.

yep, just dont say what country is good and what is bad, and dont promote war or patriotism.
social medias, trailers, teasers and everything that contains gameplay. also advertise it and change your game settings genre and minium age limit.
before starting the game, you should know what your path. what i mean is: Teory first, Action later
I mean like, you can use them, just don’t display any references to any types of wars/events of destruction/anything political. Also it may or may not be a good idea because since it’s an Indian military base, it may not be too loved by people who dislike India. But then again, people who want something like this (including myself) would probably be more attracted to playing it. Honestly, the best way usually for something like this is by testing it, if you get too much hate, don’t reference countries. If people like it, continue referencing the country (India) and market to that type of target market
Definitely get a discord server and advertise it. Also you may want to advertise on social media.
