Miniature city devlog #3

a bit early because i want these to start on the first of the month, and the fact that i havent gotten much done.

ive been really busy over the holidays (lots of family stuff ive had to attend) and not much progress has been made. but things should be freeing up and ill be able to put some more time into this project.

NEW THINGS


started working on the container port (planning on this to be pretty detailed)


this medium density area is basically finished just ignore the unpainted parts you dont see anything


mountains will be located to the west of the city.

Man this looks incredible!
I think you mentioned in the What are you working on currently? (2024, wait 2024 is over) that you place everything manually which is just crazy, kudos to you.

thanks! means a lot to me. doing things manually allows every aspect of this build to be unique and special, and every city block is different.

performance is alright. im having more trouble running it in studio than in game, but its running pretty smooth at 100k parts

I could be wrong but try going to beta features and enable occlusion culling. It should help
