I’m looking for some feedback on a little game I’ve been making lately…
It’s basically a classic roblox mining game in which you mine blocks with your pickaxe and sell them…However there’s a twist (of course): You sell them on the commodities market which fluctuates overtime. Hence, you need to adopt strategies to earn the most out of your ores.
Once you unlock the buying ability on the market (by mining 25+ blocks of a same type) you can start buying & selling on the market (Trading) ores you’ve unlocked.
I love financial markets IRL hence this idea, and I personally like playing my own game although it needs a lot more features.
However, it seems like people are not liking it very much, I’ve been testing with some sponsoring. Could you please test the game, and tell me why is it so boring, and what would you do to engage people in the gameplay at the beginning, especially younger ones?
The main problem is that I have a terrible playtime of around 2minutes or less…I would love to improve it to 5 minutes!

But regarding the UI, you use the normal system, and this is something that the player gets bored with. Try to use things that attract attention, for example, things that move on the screen. When you break the UI, it starts moving or has animation.
stop use roblox texture use different one trust me and don’t use toolbox and try add different things around the map
try to change the color because it leans toward gray. Gray isn’t a direct cause of depression, but it can affect people’s moods and lead to them losing their enjoyment due to boredom.

I was also thinking to simplify the buy-selling mechanics by default, and you would have a specific button to “unlock” / “display” the complex chart market so that younger players don’t get confused.
