I’m trying to reflect or mirror meshes I already have, but when I use plug-ins like the Geom tools, I doesn’t mirror from one axis to the other symmetrically.
Are there any other ways I can reflect a mesh?
Depends on how the mesh is setup. If it’s one single mesh, you cannot reflect this on roblox. All’s the plugins do is change the position and rotation of the parts. This is why if you have 10 or so meshes grouped, you can reflect those.
The simplest and easiest option would be just using the mirror modifier in blender. Or whatever program you’re using
if using a specialmesh, you can use negative size values.
Thank you everyone. With all that was sent to me, yes it seems I have to do it through my 3d program and use a mirror modification for my objects/assets. If anyone is trying to do this for a group of meshes and exporting it towards ROBLOX; either 1, make a mirrored version in the circumstance where you’ll want to use a symmetrical asset; as well as 2, import it from ROBLOX towards your 3d program and select the complete object with the modified assets/objects and then export it back to ROBLOX Studio (I recommend having a list of perquisite data {color, position, size, mass, etc.} and align tools ready).
