So the team I work for bought a rigged glove for our VR engine, and it works well. The only issue is that it was only the right hand. I am a programmer, and the one building the entire VR engine, but I can do some 3D modeling tasks.
I brought the model into blender, mirrored it, and brought it back into Roblox. It looks fine in blender, but in Roblox the entire thing is just broken, almost like the rig was unmirrored in Roblox while the armature stayed mirrored.
Blender (nothing wrong at all):
Roblox (broken):
I’ve even tried unrigging the whole thing, mirroring the mesh, and then applying the armature, but I get the same result.
I have tried flipping the textures, but looking at the mirrored model imported in Roblox, it’s clear that the texture is not the issue.
I really need help with fixing this urgently, as I don’t have much time left to fix much!

Change what you export the model as, that fixed it for me last time.

That fixed the first issue, but now the lighting is mirrored?
How it SHOULD look (example of unmirrored):
How it looks (broken lighting?)
I already flipped the normals so it wouldn’t be “inside out”

Don’t mirror it inside blender, just rotate it inside of roblox studio, it makes it 10x easier, trust me on this.

I can’t just rotate it in roblox studio, it’s a hand lol.

Fixed it.
I just exported as GLB instead of FBX, and I flipped the normals and calculated in the opposite direction. Works fine now.
