Mirroring with Blender?

Hi, I’m relatively new to using Blender and have currently created a Symbol I wish to mirror.

If anyone is able to assist me, and further help me understand mirroring it would be greatly appreciated.

However, being uncommon with Blender I’ve ran into issues.
This is the symbol I wish to mirror.

This is the outcome.

The mirror modifier mirrors about the object’s origin. Your origin isn’t centered while you drew your logo as if it was centered.

Go to object mode and center your cursor (Shift+S):

And then after centering the cursor, select the object (that logo) and then set the origin to the 3D cursor (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+C):

Thanks! However now when importing to ROBLOX faces of the tentacles are missing.

Any solution for this?

I was hoping that you’d notice that before exporting :x

Anyway, notice that one tentacle is darker than the others:

This means that it’s facing the other way. When a face is facing the wrong way, it isn’t rendered in Roblox. To fix this, select that tentacle and “Invert Normals”:

You should probably enable “Backface Culling” in the future to avoid problems. This makes it so that faces don’t render when your camera is looking “behind” them (instead of just being darker).
