Misunderstanding decals and images

Why are the icons that I recently added to the game saved only in the images tab, although they also were previously saved in the decals tab?

“Decals” are the front end assets that you browse in the marketplace and add to your inventory.
“Images” are the raw images that Roblox loads in games, on the website, and so on.

Every decal uploaded to Roblox has two versions.
A “Decal” type & an “Image” type.

Notice that the number for the image is lower than the decal. This is on purpose. When you put the decal link into a decal object in Studio, the image link will come up instead, as that is the actual asset. That’s why you may think that it’s wrong. An image is just a better version of a decal.

Thanks. But I still don’t understand why the previously uploaded image to the game added to decals tab, but now images uploads to a images tab. Maybe i am wrong.
