Section 1.1 Rank Expectations
Low Rank Expectations
Your Job | Your Behavior | Your Promotions |
---|---|---|
Your job as a low rank is mainly focused around customer service, you will be the main servers of customers and you will be the majority of the staff that visitors interact with. | Since you are the main staff that visitors of the bakery interact with, you are expected to treat customers with respect, just like anyone else. | In order to recieve promotions, you must attend trainings and be active within the community. |
Middle Rank Expectations
By being a member of middle ranking staff you are obligated to know these terms. Expect checks on your memorization of these terms and realize that you are liable to consequences if you are not familiar with these terms.
Your Job | Your Behavior | Your Promotions |
---|---|---|
Your job is to supervise the lower ranked staff of Mochi, as well as keep tabs on any disruptive customers that may be in your server. | You are held to a higher standard than lower ranking members and are expected to treat all staff with respect. | In order to recieve promotions, you must be active and show signs of exceptional work. |
Middle rank members may be removed for their positions for various reasons; these situations are reviewed on a case by case basis, but the most common reasons for removal include the following:
- Inactivity - Activity is a vital part of the moderation job. If you are not active at the bakery every day, then you are not fit to be a moderator. [ Inactivity notices are exceptions and can be issued ]
- Admin Abuse - No commands should be used by moderators other than the basic four moderative commands : [ !warn, !kick, !tban, !ban ]. If seen using commands with malicious or careless intent, you will be removed from the position and black-listed.
Section 1.2 Proper Moderation Protocol
What do I do if I see someone breaking the rules?
If you see someone breaking the rules, first verbally warn them. After that, use the !warn [username] command to give them a formal warning. When that person reaches three formal warnings, you are then allowed to use the !kick [username] command.
What do I do if they rejoin the game and continue trolling?
If they continue trolling after you have kicked them, you are now allowed to temporarily ban them from the game. This can be done by using the !tban [username] [number] [day, month, year] command. Never use the !ban command unless authorized by a high-ranking official.
I see someone that looks like an alternate account, do I ban them?
Just because someone looks like an alternate account does not mean that they are actually one. Follow normal protocol, and do not instantly ban them from the game as they may be an innocent user.
