Regulations & Guidelines

At Mochiko, we encourage all community members to follow general regulations & guidelines to maintain the safety and integrity of our servers, and platform. Server protection and enforcement is our top commitment to our community.

In-Game Regulations:

You must be respectful to other players — hate speech, which encourages division and perpetuates hatred is subject to a permanent ban from all of our servers, with no option to appeal. Community members and staff are advised to report these encounters to ROBLOX.
While we strongly discourage trolling — low-impact instances of trolling are subject to a singular reminder/redirection with a consequential kick/removal from the server; if the user persists or escalates behavior to more abrasive language/behavior, a server ban or permanent ban may be issued.
Disruptive behaviors, such as excessive trolling; which compromises the general atmosphere of our servers, and oversteps boundaries of respect and efficiency for our staff team will be addressed with a singular reminder, before consequently leading to a server ban.
Exploiting is prohibited in accordance with ROBLOX’s ToS. Users who exploit will be permanently banned from our servers, with no option for appeal. Community members and staff are advised to report these encounters to ROBLOX.
Bypassing profanities, or lewd/suggestive comments is prohibited in accordance with [ROBLOX’s ToS] (https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203313410-Roblox-Community-Standards) Users who are bypassing, are subject to a permanent ban from all of our servers, with an option to appeal on our communications server. Community members and staff are advised to report these encounters to ROBLOX.
Spamming server chats are prohibited, in accordance with [ROBLOX’s ToS] (https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203313410-Roblox-Community-Standards). Users who are spamming chats will be permanently banned, with an option to appeal on our communications server. Community members and staff are advised to report these encounters to ROBLOX.
Raiding our servers is prohibited — users or groups who raid will be permanently banned, with no option to appeal.
Using lewd/suggestive clothing, and overly sized avatar parts is prohibited as it compromises the safety of community members and efficiency of the servers we run. Users who are using lewd/suggestive clothing will be reminded, and consequently server banned, if they fail to comply with orders to change clothing. Users with overly sized avatar parts will be server banned immediately.
Tampering with official documents, obstructing or disrupting Mochiko events/operations is extremely prohibited and will result in a permanent ban with no appeal. If staff members obstruct/disrupt sessions, tamper with documents, they will be banned from the Mochiko Center; with no option to ever join the staff team again. They may also face permanent unappealable bans to the Mochiko pastry shop.

Well, what do we want to see in our community?

We are looking to interact and play alongside individuals who will continue to uphold values of inclusivity, play and behavioral appropriateness! This isn’t another “café roleplay” game, and our Staff Team is trained and advised to steer away from arbitrary or restrictive moderation for low-impact behaviors, such as minor trolling.

Sessions

Mochiko hosts interview sessions for Customers looking to join Mochiko, and training sessions for Cashiers interested in ranking up to Chef!

To be informed, and kept up to date about our sessions, make sure to join our Discord server! At times, we host hybrid sessions which host both interview and training sessions in one block of time.

Are there age-limits to join Mochiko’s staff team?

No! There is no age-requirement, unless you are a Head Chef aspiring to become a Staff Assistant+.

Join our group, and give it a try! Interview sessions are designed to be quick. All interview questions are open-ended with no grammar requirements, no need for lengthy answers or any right answers.

What can Head Chefs do during sessions?

Joining a session as a Head Chef is a privilege and perk of the rank, not a given! You must always ensure that you are following a Trainer/Interviewer or Hosts commands while spectating; otherwise, you will be subject to a demotion and permanent ban to the Mochiko Center.

Head Chefs Can:

Answer PTS calls, when needed before session announcements and during open question moments during the training session.
Spectate a Trainer/Interviewer while they are conducting their session.
Have fun, ask questions and meet the MR/HR/SR team up

Community

Mochiko’s community is extremely diverse, and is the pride of our group! Below, you will find the various different ranks and roles that each respective rank holds. Additionally, ranks do not have set limits, and MR+ ranks are entirely needs-based!

Customer

Customers are our newest group members, welcome to the community! We’re glad that you’re here!

Notable Customer

Notable Customers are individuals who have resigned on good terms, and good faith from a leadership position at Mochiko. Top 5 Donators at Mochiko are also given this rank, and may be removed if their donations have fallen under the Top 5 list.

Affiliate Representative

This rank is given to a representative from one of Mochiko’s alliances.

Low Ranks

Cashier

Once customers pass their application, they will be automatically ranked to the Cashier position. Cashiers are not able to enter the kitchen, but may receive orders at the registers — they must attend a training at our Training Center to become a Chef. Cashiers make rank-up by collecting points which each order they receive and input.

Chef

Once Cashiers have accrued/collected, at least 100 points, they are eligible to become Chefs! Chefs are now able to make orders in our kitchen using our wide list of recipes, or continue taking orders at the registers! Chefs may rank-up by collecting points with each order.

Experienced Chef

Once Chefs have accrued/collected, at least 200 points, they are eligible to become Experienced Chefs! Experienced Chefs know their stuff, and are experienced to guide other new staff at Mochiko! Experienced Chefs may rank-up by collecting points with each order.

Head Chef

Once Experienced Chefs have accrued/collected, at least 500 points, they are eligible to become Head Chefs! Head Chefs are one step from becoming a Staff Assistant, and are now eligible to attend sessions at the Mochiko Center to assist Customers and Trainees with any inquiries/questions they may have!

Middle Ranks

Staff Assistant

Staff Assistants have displayed commitment through activity, engagement, knowledge and enthusiasm at Mochiko. Staff Assistants are now able to train at training sessions, and have Moderator commands to supervise Mochiko’s servers.

Supervisor

Supervisors are able to host training sessions, and can continue supervising Mochiko’s servers or attending training sessions as a Trainer.

Manager

Managers are on step closer to becoming an Executive Assistant at Mochiko; they are guaranteed a promotion to Executive Assistant, and will be promoted based on seniority. Managers can continue hosting or training at training sessions, or supervising Mochiko’s servers.

High Ranks

Executive Assistant

Executive Assistants are able to join departments, depending on the vacancy! Within the Employment Department, they are able to promote MRs; host and lead cool events, and represent Mochiko to our alliances in the Relations Department, or handle tickets, appeals, and other administrative duties in the Administrative Department!

Chief People Officer (Leadership Position)

Leader of the Employment Department; receives recommendations, publishes and reads MR applications, and carries out MR promotions! Establishes rules, protocols and has control over resources within the Employment Department.

Chief Relations Officer (Leadership Position)

Leader of the Relations Department; represents and establishes on behalf of Mochiko alliances, hosts community events/engagement, and handle all public communications with community! Establishes rules, protocols and has control over resources within Relations Department.

Chief Administrative Officer (Leadership Position)

Leader of the Administrative Department; coordinates staff trainings, deals with appeals and other related tickets on communications servers, ensures integrity and safety in community. Establishes rules, protocols and has control over resources within Administrative Department.

Super Ranks

Board of Directors (Leadership Position)

Board of Directors overseer all departments, and can work as an interim Chief during vacancies! They are able to carry out all the functions of each department, with approval of department leaders.

Co-Founder (Leadership Position)

The second-to-last Super Rank position is unobtainable, the Co-Founder, otherwise known as “” oversees all operations within Mochiko and participates in all areas of the community!

Founder (Leadership Position)

The last Super Rank & group owner position is unobtainable, the Founder, otherwise known as subtlethings oversees all operations within Mochiko and participates in all areas of the community!

Promotion Guide

Mochiko’s Employment Department is continuously looking to recruit Kitchen Leaders to become Staff Assistants! At Mochiko, we strongly believe in equal opportunities, and have codified several different pathways to become a Staff Assistant to ensure equal opportunity and low-stress.

Pathways to Become Staff Assistant:

Recognition, Recommendations & In-Game Promotions:
This pathway to Staff Assistant requires that a current Staff Assistant+ recognizes your hard work, recommends you to a member of the Employment Department and promotes you in-game! Recommendations are documented, and kept highly confidential.
Await and Apply:
This pathway to Staff Assistant+ is the highlight of our commitment to ensuring equal opportunity to all Kitchen Leaders looking to advance in becoming Staff Assistants+! Applications for Staff Assistant are released every 3 months, or based off of urgent need; all you need to do is await and apply! We are looking for high-quality applications, which can truly capture your commitment to our community.

No matter the pathway you take, all prospective individuals must meet the following requirements:

Continuous Activity

You must be an active Kitchen leader for a minimum of 2 weeks, your promotion is not guaranteed after 2 weeks, but ultimately your hard work, continuous activity & resilience never go unnoticed! We’re looking to see Kitchen Leaders at the café taking orders and at the Training Center helping out our newest group members!
Professionalism & Respect

Professionalism is required across the board for all of our staff members, and greatly coincides with respect to our customers and guests, and other staff members. Hinting for promotions is deemed to be a breach of professionalism and respect, and will significantly lower your chances at becoming a Staff Assistant.
Enthusiasm

Enthusiasm and commitment to upholding Mochiko’s values, processes and operations are all considered when making a decision to promote someone to Staff Assistant+.
13+, Safechat Disabled, and Access to Communications Server

To be recommended, or considered for a Staff Assistant+ position, you must be older than 13+ and have access to our communications server and have safechat disabled on your ROBLOX account.

Alliance Application

Mochiko is continuously looking to form partnerships with other groups. The Relations Department at Mochiko will be processing applications that our criterions below.

Criteria

Must have an active community.
Professional staff, with a good reputation.
May not be a group affiliated with military role-play, trolling, raiding, etc.
May not sell administrative ranks, that give players admin ranks with gamepads purchases.
Must have a minimum of 20 members, this is subject to change. Additionally, we’re not restricted to only allow 20+ members.

To submit this application, you must send the responses within a Google Doc that is viewable to whomever has the link. Additionally, you may send your application to a member of the Relations Department of Mochiko through our communications server.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I appeal my Discord, or in-game ROBLOX ban?

To submit an appeal, of any sorts, you must join our Discord, communications server and make a ticket using the -ticket new or -ticket open command. You’ll need to follow the steps prompted by a member of the Administrative Department to ensure a decision in your case.

Additionally, make sure to view “Regulations & Guidelines” to view if your in-game offense is appealable.

Well, why hasn’t my appeal been approved?

Each appeal is carefully considered, and up to the discretion of a member of the Administrative Department. Use the “Regulations & Guidelines” tab to explore whether or not your in-game ban is appealable — or open a ticket to talk to a member of the Administrative Department!

Usually appeals are denied when a player has made a considerable threat, message or harm/hate, or tampered with Mochiko operations in a significant and substantial way.

How am I able to make a donation to Mochiko?

You are able to donate within our cafe, a donation wall will be present at spawn & within the cafe. Additionally, there will be tip jars at the registers which you may use to donate. All contributions are welcomed, & we appreciate all our supporters!

Does Mochiko have rank limits for any of their MR/HR positions?

Mochiko does not have any rank limits, other than the amount of people in each rank is up to the discretion of members of leadership who are Chief Officers+.

How can I become a Discord or in-game ROBLOX moderator?

To become either a Mochiko Discord, or ROBLOX moderator, you must be a member of the community (Customer-Executive Assistant) — applications are released whenever there is a need. There are certain limits within the Administration Department, which can be found below.

Additionally, to become a moderator of any kind, you must meet all the following requisites:

13+ ROBLOX or Discord account
ROBLOX or Discord account must be at least 1 year old
Must have been in our Discord, or ROBLOX group for at least 5 months

If you do not meet these 3 requisites, you are not eligible and no exceptions will be made. All applicants, no matter the rank or position held are considered to the same esteem. Those who are already in the MR/HR team do NOT have priority to join the Administration Department.

What are the departments at Mochiko? What do they do?

The departments at Mochiko consist of Employment, Relations and Administration. As an Executive Assistant, you are able to join whichever department has a vacancy — the limits below are only applicable to Executive Assistants with the exception of the Administrative Department which is available to all!

Administration - 20

The Administration Department of Mochiko is responsible for moderating and conducting investigations for appeals, and other misconduct. Anyone in the community is able to join the Administration Department through a series of application and trial/training periods to ensure success and retention.

Periodically, we release Discord Moderator applications and in-game ROBLOX Moderator applications — based on need.

Relations - 10

The Relations Department of Mochiko is responsible for establishing new alliances, and representing Mochiko through events, visits and engagement in other Discord servers. They create Mochiko events, and regularly update the community through engagement.

Employment - 10

The Employment Department of Mochiko is responsible for recruiting new staff members to the MR team. As noted in the “Promotion Guide”, the Employment Department receives, reviews and documents recommendations and creates, publishes and reads applications for prospective Staff Assistants. Additionally, they handle promotions within the MR team, and handle demotions or other administrative decisions related to employment in the MR+ team.
