Model goes transparent in material preview mode

I exported a cannon model from studio as my client wants some changes to the model and the texture but for some reason when I go into material preview mode the model turns transparent. I already cleared the custom split normal data so the model looks fine in solid mode.
How do I fix this?

What does the canon look like in a render? Did you accidentally switch the main texture of the canon, with a transparrent glass material?

Maybe try flipping the normals of the mesh, they might be turned inside.

There are 3 possible issues: inverted normals, negative scale, or a broken material. If the first 2 are fine, build new materials. I’ll see if I can find the article. There might be a way to correct the old materials if this is the problem.

This is specifically related to imported models in blender. The link is not particularly helpful.

Thanks, the materials were broken and I had to remake them.
