The bug I am experiencing is the following: whenever I try to move a model from one point to another on ROBLOX Studio, the model tends to do one of the following:
Moves the model normally (about 60% of the time)
Moves the model for half a sec, then randomly stops and opens the hold-mouse-box-selection tool (about 30%)
The model stays put, and only a single block of the model moves (10%)
I have noticed the bug occurring on all of my ROBLOX Studio servers. As well, I have only began experiencing this bug today: however, I wasn’t on it when the most recent update came out, so maybe it could have started then.
Unfortunately, that’s all the info I have to provide. I’ll update this post once any new info arises.
It’s very to create a replication of it, but here is a gif of what happened when I tried reproducing it again.
I’m starting to believe this is more random than anything, as when I tried moving it, I didn’t experience the single-block selection again, but instead, it just randomly let go of the block when I tried moving it.
(Gif isn’t working: go here Imgur: The magic of the Internet)
Keep in mind that in the gif, whenever my mouse was over that block, I am holding down the left mouse button as firmly as possible, so I know its not just me accidentally letting go.
I do not have another mouse: however, it may potentially be the mouse that is the cause, as I have noticed the right click button wearing out and breaking, so maybe something similar is occurring to the left mouse click. Ill likely get another mouse for Christmas, so if it fixes it completely then, I will let you know.
