So I exported this character in roblox studio:
But if you put it in the blender it looks like this:
How do I add the texture of the model in blender (I tried to search for videos about it but all are from old versions)?
So I exported this character in roblox studio:
Looks like you’re in solid view - mind switching to rendered preview or material preview? (Its the circles to the right of the one you have selected)
Check the material - is there an imported material? There should be one if there is a corresponding material file exported with it
just these
I mean the material on the mesh in blender - if there is not a material automatically added to your mesh then you can create your own from that .mtl file I believe
any video that can help me with this?
…tons
but you need to select your mesh (actually make sure its selected and bright blue - you should be able to click it…)
then scroll down to the materials tab (checker boarded circle icon)
Scroll up to see the BaseColor property of your material - this is your texture. Make sure that it is your texture.
I don’t find this texture on my PC but it looks like the application found it, where is this texture located?
The texture is located in your file.
What exactly is the Color of your material (not your texture - your material)? If it is not the texture that you need, then we have to take steps to create the material. If it is the texture, then we need to find out why it’s not rendering (maybe a light is wrong perhaps?)
I’m confused, wasn’t the obj file for this model supposed to be the same as the one shown above?
