Hi, I have a model that is comprised of cylinders and special mesh spheres. The parts are grouped together and I cant scale it down. Anything I can do?
You can set the resize scale to 0.01 and resize the model or ungroup them and resize them one at a time.
Tried setting the resize scale to 0.1 and it wouldn’t scale no matter how low I put it. I cant resize them one at a time, either. Anything else I can try?
Is the mesh a file mesh or a meshpart? If not then it’s because some parts are already 0.05 for one of the XYZ measurements
This might help
EDIT: This should potentially replace your cylinders and special mesh spheres with meshparts (there won’t be a visual difference between the two, just a change in the element used) and potentially make them easier to stretch.
Thanks! It seems good and I’ll try it out.
Do you know what it appears as in the plugins section/what it looks like?
It gets rid of one of my special meshes when I hit transform, do you know why that happens or am I just not using it right?
It doesn’t remove special meshes, only unions as it’s not meant to be used on them.
Go to settings and select → Keep Parts After
Oh, it has unions. Anyway I can do it with the unions still being kept?
Yeah, just do this in settings
(CogWheel icon when you have plugin open)
Oh, sorry I didn’t see that, thanks.
For some reason it wont scale. I dunno why though.
I think it might be because it has unions in it. I think it might work if I take them off then put them back on after I downsize it.
Nevermind, still wont work. It also distorts the glass when I hit transform.
I used a different plugin and it worked, sorry for wasting your time.
Thanks, it worked really well!
