Modelling low orbit

hi im working on a game


ever seen these pictures? yea im trying to recreate it without using skyboxes, now i tried using a dome mesh that was one sided but i cant make it big enough.

any tips are appreciated

might be worth mentioning that i just set the position of that whole thing to be below the camera, so it appears bigger than it is
