I am not sure is this a bug or it is intended. This happens after the pivot tools update and it has recently been quite an annoying issue for me.
Whenever the model’s descendant has it’s position changed, the pivot will go into a random point. The pivot does not update accordingly to the model’s new size and position.
As seen in this gif, the pivot point did not update to the model’s center after I moved the blue part. Until I clicked the “Reset” button.
It also happens when setting the PrimaryPart’s CFrame with code, or just copy and pasting models between place files. It does not happen all the time and I am not sure what are the circumstances for this to happen. However, it happens quite often during my workflow.
I have quite a number of models stored inside folders and they have their center point being messed up. I will have expand the folders and click on the model one by one and click “Reset” if I want to reset the pivot.
My goal is to have the model’s center point update accordingly when it’s size and position is changed, is there some sort of option to make this not happen anymore?
