Moderated for an ad -- how can I avoid this?

I just launched a game and I’m trying to upload some ads for it. Of course, I immediately get my account deactivated. The moderation message, bizarrely enough, was in Spanish, but it basically said I’m breaking the rules.

I did actually go and read all the rules – for about the 10th time – and I just can’t figure out how the ad in question would violate any rule. Can anyone give me a hint? Should I just plan on getting moderated on half my ads regardless of what they say? I’m pretty uncomfortable with having my entire account deactivated every time.

If you do not know why you got moderated and want an appeal go to #platform-feedback:moderation-review-requests (which you can’t access as you are a Member) or contact the moderation team: Moderation Review Requests Group

Ah, thanks. I didn’t know about that contact link.

Still, in general I just want to avoid being moderated / needing to appeal anything. I really don’t care about this specific ad, we can make more, but I’d like to have an understanding of how this moderation system works. Or if it’s just like this normally.

Big chance that it’s because you’ve got a boy AND a girl in your picture, and your picture also says “hang out”, which may promote and can possibly result in some players doing online dating/relationships.

Maybe put either only girls or only boys in the picture, and it should be fine.

Oh, thanks. That’s something I’d never notice on my own, but it makes sense. Maybe I’ll just imagine that the moderation team is run by a hypervigilant nun and try to think of it from her perspective?

I believe it’s most likely a bot that moderated your image. It probably detected the boy and girl.
