I’m working on an admin system currently and I want to make it as convenient to use for moderators, admins, developers, owners – everyone. Some features I’m working on include increased mobile support, copiable text in logs, keybinds, and more.
What are some things that you think should be included in an admin system? What would make your job easier? (including setup in studio, settings, anything.)
some ideas are:
quick actions: shortcuts for common actions like kicking, banning, muting would make the job much easier
allow to communicate with other admins directly within the admin panel
Depends on what the game I’m making is.
If it’s RP then group rank changing commands, general moderation commands (Kick,warn,mute,ban,etc), and general utility commands (To,tp,bring,admins,etc).
If it’s like an obby then just ban and kick.
In studio, probably ability to edit rank names, rank power (i.e, Adonis’s ability to edit rank power), maybe a webhook logging configuration.
Possibly the ability add new ranks, the ability to add new commands.
I like that direct communication idea. Kind of like a channel for all online mods?
I’ll be creating “modules” that you can disable/enable in studio for this reason, so obby owners don’t have features like ranks, messages, and etc. cluttering up the panel. I like your idea of group rank management but that would require API and a ranking bot which frankly would be complicated for now, but I will look into it
