Recently, I had posted a post to hire me for free and I was hired. I was told to make a Homestore. I’m sharing it to you guys. It’s my second build which is being posted on DevForum
Hmm you are a great builder I assume. But note that free models contains viruses. I was hired to script a game today when I scanned it I got 767 viruses!
Walk speed is too high, i recommend making them the default speed (16) or make it slightly slower than that even.
INTERIOR + EXTETERIOR
Door handles of store has cancollide enabled, you may want to disable that for people to not have to walk around the handles
I like the ceiling but you should do more to the floor than making it just some default carpet texture
The exterior is something that should have more work done, I get what you’re trying to do with the roof but it doesnt really work.
Store needs a different color scheme, black + white isn’t usually appealing to players. I recommend looking up color schemes and seeing what works best.
Be careful with using a glass material, it does this to decals if you’re infront of glass… this also brings up the question on why the text has a background, this will give you more work to do if you ever need to recolor the buttons for whatever reason. You should make the windows smooth plastic to solve this.
Why is there even multiple buy buttons per stand? This isnt necessary.
There’s only one kind of mannequin which is with the stand and it not only makes it look more boring but it takes up a lot of space, which for the size of the store def not a good thing.
OVERALL
The store lacks color and variety of mannequins. It’s not really easy to look at due to the color scheme either and i feel like players would stay in there for 30-60 seconds max due to the size of the store and how it is laid out.
Hey! Nice build and I agree with what’s stated above, you should also change the neon amount in the sign, it’s too much in my opinion. That goes for the neon everywhere else too. Don’t want your store being too bright!
