I’ve been using studio for 8 years and I still spend longer than I should be trying to find certain objects here. It’d be great if we could type it in here or press ‘S’ and the first object with an S as it’s first letter gets highlighted.

The current workaround is keeping an ‘Advanced Objects’ tab/window gadget thing open and it takes up very valuable screen estate.

You can press Ctrl+I to bring up the advanced objects menu

We’ve developed a much better interface for inserting objects, it will ship early next year!
