Hello,
I kind of regret the old “system menu” toolbar, the actual ribbon bars, new tabs are gigantic for nothing, the buttons are way too big and we got a significant amount space we can’t use.
Here is my studio setup, thanks to the quick access toolbar I’m not alway opening tabs, but sometimes I need to access them:
You see can the 8 roblox terrain plugins, and a huge unused background, So my request would be having tabs modular like the explorer/properties/output etc…
Giving us the ability to drag them on the sides of the studio, doing this will allow us to save viewport space, maybe having few tabs expanded at the same time and will for sure increase the studio ergonimics + dev production.
I think the reason why roblox made the buttons big is so people who are new to studio don’t get scared and run away. After all, when you think about it, there are a lot of things to think about when using roblox studio. After all, it’s a game engine. By making buttons bigger it simplifies the UI and puts important things in front of people who don’t know the difference. Your idea would be great for someone with experience, but for newbies it might not be so friendly to the learning curb.
