Moltè Hub Manuals

Information below outlines steps hosts, co-hosts, assistants and supervisors must take to operate successful sessions here at Moltè. If you need clarification, contact a corporate lead or higher ranked employee on our communications hub!

Information on rules staff must abide by can be found here: Moltè Staff Guidelines.
Information regarding when sessions are held can be found here: Moltè Session Schedules.

:clipboard:SHOUT POLICY:
When you are hosting an event, it is mandatory to shout the event to inform members of the group that you are hosting an event at the Moltè Hub. There are three possible tags you can use when shouting an event using the group shout:

  • [INT] = Announcing that an interview will occur.
  • [TRAIN] = Announcing that a training will occur.
  • [BISTRO] = Redirecting members from a session to the bistro.

Management members are advised to refrain from overshouting, which can result in punishment. If there is a QOTD (Question of the Day) in the previous shout, transfer the QOTD to the end of your shout. If the session has ended and it is a new day, you can create a new QOTD to replace the previous day’s question.

CORRECT SHOUTS:

  • [INT] 1:00 PM Central | HOST: Moltian | CO-HOST: Moltian2 | Come on down and be interviewed for a chance to work at Moltè! S-Locking the server soon! [QOTD] Sandwiches or Fries?

  • [INT] S-LOCKED! | Sorry if you couldn’t make it, why not head down to the restaurant and get some poutine? Sounds good to me! [QOTD] Sandwiches or Fries?

  • [INT] CONCLUDED! | Thanks to everyone who came out. Congratulations to everyone who passed! [QOTD] Sandwiches or Fries?

:clipboard:INTERVIEWS:
Depending on your role in the session, follow the steps located in the below roles:

  • HOSTS:
PRE-REQUIREMENT: Have co-hosted before and are comfortable.
PRE-REQUIREMENT: Must be ranked Corporate Lead or higher.

  • 1 ⟶ If you have decided to host an interview session at the Moltè Hub, ensure that you are hosting at the correct time. This may require that you convert time zones from Central, as our session schedule is in Central Time.

  • 1A ⟶ Find a co-host that is Corporate Management or higher; this Corporate Manager must have completed interviewing shadowing in order to co-host.

  • 1B ⟶ Now that you have a co-host, announce that you are hosting an interview session at the Moltè Hub, following the shout policy, and ensure that there are enough staff present to supervise and assist you in interviewing.

    • Remember to also shout the session in the #session-notices channel in the communications hub. Use the format outlined there.
  • 2 ⟶ At the Hub, ensure that customers are seated and that staff are standing on the designated lines that have been outlined for staff; leave the server open for 15 minutes before slocking the server using the “:slock” command. If bistro employees join, please ask them to leave, as this session does not concern them.

  • 2A ⟶ Now that the server is S-Locked, you can begin to say your introduction and welcoming statement to the customers present. Please ensure customers stay somewhat quiet. Your introduction should look like this:

    • :m Hello! Welcome to our 1:00 AM Interview session, my name is Moltian, and I’m an Employment Director at Moltè. Welcome to the Moltè Hub. Before we begin our interview process, we want to ensure that everyone’s account is the proper age.
  • 2B ⟶ Instruct Assistants (Restaurant Supervisors +) to perform the “:info” command on customers present to ensure their accounts are above the age of 15. If they are not above the age of 15, they will have to be kicked from the session.

  • 2C ⟶ Now you can announce individually, using the “:sm” command, the community and employee rules Customers must follow to successfully pass this interview session.

    • RULE 1: Players are asked to be respectful and accepting of each other while at Moltè, and to respect Moltè as a virtual online representation of a company.
    • RULE 2: Players are asked to refrain from exploiting (bypassing the original games intention). Exploitation will result in an instant and permanent termination.
    • RULE 3: Player harassment is not tolerated in Moltè games. It is our mission to provide players with a safe environment to meet new people, have fun working at our bistro, and communicate with friends.
    • RULE 4: Your interviewer will ask you several questions, and you must respond within 30 seconds, and use good grammar skills. Failure to use good grammar skills will result in you failing your interview.
    • RULE 5: Moltè does not permit employees to copy and paste their answers. Any evidence that leads your interviewer to believe you are copying and pasting will result in you failing your interview.
  • 2D ⟶ As you complete the rules segment, you can now announce using “:sm” that interviews will now commence and that interviewers will begin selecting candidates to be interviewed for employment.

    • As host, you are permitted to interview candidates as long as you instruct supervisors to watch over Customers, answer questions they may have and make sure they remain seated.
    • It is advised that a Supervisor remains at the “Passers” area to make sure that no Customers attempt to falsify their interview. Once interviews are completed you may shutdown the server using “:shutdown” and shout that interviews are finished.

    • Make sure the Customer can perform in a group tasked environment.

If you are passing a customer, you can congratulate them and send them to the “Passers” area in the building.
