:blue_square: SHOUT POLICY:

Molte Management Shout Policy

When you are hosting an event, it is mandatory to shout the event to inform members of the group that you are hosting an event at the Molte Hub. There are two possible tags you can use when shouting an event using the group shout:

  • [TRAIN] = Announcing that a training will occur.
  • [BISTRO] = Redirecting members from a session to the bistro.

⟶ Management members are advised to refrain from over-shouting. If there is a QOTD (Question of the Day) in the previous shout, transfer the QOTD to the end of your shout. If the session has ended and it is a new day, you can create a new QOTD to replace the previous day’s question.

CORRECT SHOUTS:

  • [TRAIN] 1:00 PM CNT | HOST: Moltian | CO-HOST: Moltian2 | Come on down and be trained for a chance to work at Molte! S-Locking the server soon! [QOTD] Sandwiches or Fries?
  • [TRAIN] CONCLUDED! | Thanks to everyone who came out. Congratulations to everyone who passed! [QOTD] Sandwiches or Fries?

:star: LEARN YOUR ROLE:

Depending on your role in the session, follow the steps located in the below roles:
Below are roles for Hosts, Co-Hosts, Assistants and Supervisors.

HOST REQUIREMENTS

HOSTING REQUIREMENTS:

⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Have co-hosted before.
⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Are comfortable and won’t leave until session is complete.
⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Must be ranked Corporate Management or higher.

BEFORE SESSION PREP:

1. If you have decided to host an training session at the Molte Hub, ensure that you are hosting at the correct time. This may require that you convert time zones from Central.

1A. Find a co-host that is Corporate Management or higher.

1B. Now that you have a co-host, announce that you are hosting an training session at the Molte Hub, following the Shout Policy, and ensure that there are enough staff present to supervise and assist you in training. Remember to also shout the session in the #sessions channel in the Communications Hub. Use the format outlined there.

AT THE TRAINING HUB:

2. At the Hub, ensure that employees are seated in the Allen Lecture Hall (Room A130) located in the Allen Building. Instruct staff to come up onto the stage and stand on designated areas; leave the server open for 15 minutes before slocking the server using the “:slock” command.

2A. Now that the server is S-Locked, you can begin to say your introduction and welcoming statement to the employees present. Please ensure employees stay somewhat quiet. Your introduction should look like this:

:m Hello! Welcome to our 1:00 AM Training session, my name is Moltian, and I’m an Employment Director at Molte. Welcome to the Molte Hub! I’m also joined by our lovely management department seen behind me! Before we begin, we want to ensure that everyone’s account is the proper age.

2B. Instruct Training Assistant + to perform the “:info” command on employees present to ensure their accounts are above the age of 10. If they are not above the age of 10, they will have to be kicked from the session.

2C. Now you can announce individually, using the “:sm” command, the Rules below.

RULES:

RULE 1: Players are asked to be respectful and accepting of each other while at Molte, and to respect Molte as a virtual online representation of a company.
RULE 2: Players are asked to refrain from exploiting (bypassing the original games intention). Exploitation will result in an instant and permanent termination.
RULE 3: Player harassment is not tolerated in Molte games. It is our mission to provide players with a safe environment to have fun working at our bistro, and communicate with friends.
RULE 4: Employees are required to utilize grammar while in-game at the bistro. Ensure you are using grammar in your welcoming statements as well, or else you will receive a warning.
RULE 5: Employees are expected to take orders at the bistro, assemble orders and retrieve crates from the Ferry to restock sandwich stations. These tasks are the basis of Molte’s culinary operation and are the foundation of the service we provide.

2D. As you complete the rules segment, you can now announce using “:sm” that trainings will now commence and begin preparing Training Cohorts (Trainees with Trainees, etc.).

2E. Refer to :red_square: Creating Training Cohorts for assistance.

2F. Once Cohorts are created, enter the Culinary Examination Room and allow employees to claim a register. Here, explain to employees that they will be tested on their ability to construct a greeting and on sending/clearing orders that they’ve submitted on the Ordering Board.

2G. Once employees complete greetings, move onto testing their ability to use a register.

2H. Instruct them to submit an order to the Ordering Board for the customer (Your Username). The item will be a Large Cola Soda. If they are able to submit this item to the board and clear it after a check by an Assistant, they have passed this part of the session.

3A. In the Cooking Examination Room, have Cohorts disperse throughout the counters and instruct Assistants to join their assigned groups.

3B. Allow Training Assistant + to conduct their training exercises with their groups. Monitor the groups progress and ensure that everyone is moving along at roughly the same pace.

3C. Once the Cohorts are finished and the passers are renamed “PASS”, you and the Co-Host will begin ranking the appropriate employees to their next designated rank. Once everyone is finished, you may shutdown the server using “:shutdown” and shout that trainings are finished.

CO-HOSTS REQUIREMENTS

CO-HOSTS REQUIREMENTS:

⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Must be ranked Corporate Management or higher.

1. As a Co-Host, it is your responsibility to aid the flow of the training session. This involves directing staff to their positions, answering employees and staff question(s) if there are any, and training at the given time in the presence of an Assistant shortage. It is your responsibility to also listen to the orders of the Host, and make sure that all operations are proceeding smoothly.

2. Once the Cooking Examination segment is complete, you are instructed to circulate through the Cohorts and promote any employee that is renamed “PASS”. Do not promote any employee that does not have this name designation as they did not pass the test.

⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Have asked the Host to be a Assistant.
⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Must be ranked Training Assistant or higher.

SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS

SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:

⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Have asked the Co-Host to be a Supervisor.
⟶ PRE-REQUIREMENT : Must be ranked Bistro Intern or higher.

1. As an Supervisor, it is your responsibility to supervise the flow of the training and provide aid to employees that have questions. It is also your responsibility to supervise employees that have passed the Cooking Examination until a Host or Co-Host has had a chance to promote them.

2. You are not permitted to train candidates.

:red_square: CREATING TRAINING COHORTS:

What the Host should do after Rules are completed.

Creating Training Cohorts

1. Divide employees into even groups, trying to ensure that Trainees go together, Junior Bistro Employees go together (overlap allowed). Assign the correct amount of staff to each group; i.e. ensure that there is an Assistant leading the Cohort and at a minimum of 1 supervising management member present to aid the Assistant in any situation.

:orange_square: BEGIN CULUNARY TRAINING!

If you’re a Training Assistant +, the below steps are how to perform a Cooking Exam Module.

Culinary Training Steps

1. Begin by introducing yourself to your Cohort if you have not already and explain to the employees present that this will be a culinary preparation test on a variety of menu items.

2. Once instructions have been stated, commence with Culinary Training!

3. Below is how many items each employee level will be tested on:
[T] Trainees = 4 Items and 1 Mistake Permitted.
[JBE] Junior Bistro Employees = 5 Items and 1 Mistake Permitted.
[SBE] Senior Bistro Employees = 6 Items and No Mistake Permitted.
[HBE] Head Bistro Employees = 6 Items and No Mistakes Permitted.

4. Beforehand you will have decided on what items to test. Do not test on soda or desserts, but focus your examination on sandwiches, fries, tea and boba.

:warning: Do not inform any employee what items you will test. If employees are unable to prepare a menu item, they do not receive a point for that part of the culinary training.

If you are examining different employee levels, and finish with one level (ex. you are training Trainees and JBE and Trainees finish first), have them wait at the counter while you continue with other members and ensure the Supervisor monitors them so they do not leave.

5. Once complete, inform the Host or Co-Host that your Cohort is finished and await for the Host/Co-Host to promote the employees that have successfully completed the session.

6. Once everyone has been promoted in your Cohort, you may circulate and watch other Cohorts that are not yet finished with the permission of the Cohort’s Assistant.

Best Wishes,
Molte Senior Management
