Monetization is terrible - How to improve?

Hey,

I got a problem. My monetization is really terrible.
On avg I have 150-200 players, my robux/per visit is about 0.2, I know tycoons which make 2 or 1 per visit.
I have no idea on how to improve the monetization, I need your help :smiley:
Please don’t tell me that tycoons barely make money, tycoons are one of the best earning genres on Roblox, so I think my monetization is just very bad.

Maybe make some Dev products for buying cash/currency? And maybe on gamepasses that don’t sell very well, decrease their prices?

One thing I noticed is that your prices are very low. Also, maybe use some popups or chat advertisements? I’ve never made a significant amount of robux from a game so I may be giving bad advice, but It’s my best guess. Just because I’m curious, dm me if it works out :smiley:

Oh sorry. I have played your game before after seeing it in a RoBuilder video. Been a while since I played it.

That can work, but at the same time it could also make people think that the gamepass will be lower quality. Think of a brand irl like gucci. They have very basic products, but people think they are getting super high quality because of their pricing.

Something that worked well for me is making Products that provides a silly experience/affect the whole server.

Example: Pay 25 Robux to temporarily boost everyone’s revenues or pay 120 Robux to start an FFA.
Even though it doesn’t really fit the genre of the game, I think that’d be cool.

True. But not every player on the platform will be able to afford high-priced passes

Yeah, you’re right. Also as I’m playing, money isn’t that long to generate. That makes devproducts less worth it because I can easily get it on my own.

Yeah, maybe make it slightly more difficult to gain some cash, meaning more play time, and more robux earned from people who want to gain money from dev products

Nah, its not the time. If I make it too hard to get cash, players will leave. If I make it too easy, players wont spend a long time ingame. + I can’t really figure out which dropper gives too much cash and which not.

Yeah, makes sense. You could also, likely will, make more of the tycoon for longer play time
