This is the first game on roblox that’s actually made me feel immersed, like I was somewhere doing something. All these neat showcases and cute builds on roblox never make me feel like I’m anywhere but a Lego box cover. This is different.
“The Wind” was my first immersive experience on ROBLOX I think.
Didn’t get immersed in the OP game though cause it’s not single player and I was just chilling with people.

There were too many audios in my opinion. I don’t feel like it’s immersive.

It’s very well done, the atmosphere is excellent. As a WIP it shows great promise.
I do think the theremin sounds could be turned down quite a bit, it had me feeling like I was in line for Space Mountain at Disneyland.
Nice use of wood textures.

Pretty sure that lantern is Immersor’s, since we built that specifically for an old horror project we never finished. The same exact model, sounds, animations…
Yeah, the lantern is mine. I gave it to him for testing.
Did I miss something or is it really only a 30 stud square invisible box we can explore in? Invisible walls are like the ultimate immersion breaker. The place itself is nice and spoopy.

It’s a WIP. Given the shotgun on the floor and the partially glimpsed monster in the distance I’m thinking there will be more in the future.
Or maybe it’s just an cool place, an atmospheric showcase. We really need a word for that. In literature a ‘cameo’ is a “short descriptive literary sketch that neatly encapsulates someone or something”. That would work, but I wish there was a better word that didn’t have other meanings.

I think the roblox community used the term ‘vignette’ but I’m unclear on the definition. It seems a bit bigger than the typical tiny vignettes I see, but a bit smaller than a showcase.
I saw a WIP horror game the other day that was absolutly amazing and gave me the chills, it’s usually on top rated (don’t have link cuz lazy)
