Motor6D is not connecting to Part1

BEFORE I POST, IF THIS IS IN THE WRONG CATAGORY PLEASE REPLY

So I am learning how to animate weaponry using Motor6D welds. When I attach the Part0 and Part1 properties of the Motor6D object, the tool is meant to teleport to the Part0’s location. However, when I do this it doesn’t do it; I have tried separate studios and other fixes and non proved successful.

If anyone can help me figure this out, please reply.

A few questions:

  • How did you apply M6D? (Manually, Plugin (if so name), or loaded from model).
  • Is the weapon all welded up (with weldconstraints/m6d)?

I applied the Motor6Ds in the weapon using a plugin and I created the Motor6D in the players torso manually.

There are no other types of welds.

If your tool model has multiple parts then you will need to weld them all with Motor6D’s and make sure its unanchored

Check if your motor6d is enabled in the properties.

Send a copy of your project. I will check what went wrong.
