I made multiple time the mistake to “Publish to Roblox” when I wanted just to “Save to Roblox” or “Save to Roblox As…”
Thats a serious problem. At least we should have a popup asking " Are you sure you want to Publish " !
I know I could work on an other place and save manually when its ready, but its still a problem!

In the meantime, you can revert published changes by going to Configure This Place > Version History > Revert to this version

Some people tend to have a place for the workshop and testing, then publish to the core game when they update.

This is a good idea. A “git status” style list of changes you are about to save wouldn’t hurt either.
This is a necessary evil. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had collaborators hit publish to instead of save to and we don’t realize until the update is out before we’ve soft launched it.
