Hey, I would love to provide a screen recording for you but it looks like the update got reverted for me just now. I will follow up with a video when I get the update again.
I don’t know if this is expected behaviour but generally when running a test game inside studio, if you click a script log in the console it will take you to the script but will lag a lot.
I believe this issue is the same as @ItsKoiske mentioned
This has happened to me since the very first update of the roblox studio UI
Hey! I got the new studio update and it is still incredibly laggy for me and it happened as soon as I undock anything.
Here is a video of the aftermath where you can see at one point it getting much worse. The video unfortunately doesn’t show how choppy things really are. I suggest looking at the mouse where you can see that due to input lag I have a hard time hovering over the docking menu. This is tested on a fresh install of studio too.
I think you have a much bigger problem on your hands than you realize.
(Did you change everything to SVGs causing a 10x resource use or something??)
After updating Studio, all of my docked window settings were lost, then after finally getting things back to
normal in terms of the docked windows, which was laggy BTW, I started to edit code:
On a machine that I’ve been using Studio on just fine until now, is now UNUSABLE
Type some text in the editor–In a few seconds to a few minutes, text will appear.
Studio Version: 0.543.395.5430593 (64bit)
