Moving mouse causes major lag in studio

For some background info: I have a Ryzen 7 3800X, 16GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon 5700XT. I have disabled all plugins and opened a completely new baseplate. I have also tried this with rbxfpsunlocker running and disabled, with no change. In Task Manager, absolutely nothing is happening, no massive CPU usage or memory allocations, nothing.

Here is a gyazo of the microprofiler: https://gyazo.com/2b424c25c3e9e727ade408ff93dc443d
At the start I am not moving my mouse, and I walk a little bit to show what is supposed to be “normal” although something still looks wrong even when not moving my mouse. But then about halfway in I drag my mouse around really fast, causing the massive lag spike seen in the video, and the solid orange box in the microprofiler.

The issue seems to be that for some reason, Roblox is processing mouse movement or mouse input in general reeeeeally slow. Everytime I move my mouse or click on something, there’s a huge lag spike. Alongside this, when I load a place, playtest, or run a game in studio, there is an unexpectedly long time where it says “Roblox Studio not Responding” before finally completing the task. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling studio to get a fresh application, and I have the same problem still. Does anyone know what or why this is happening?

Do you have any scripts in the game that might be doing a lot of processes?

read the background info, this is a completely new baseplate with no plugins running.
