Field Trainee
A field trainee is the starter group rank. This is obtained by simply joining the MERT group.
- Field Trainees will have access to a medkit and a fire extinguisher.
Field Companion
A Field Companion is the second obtainable rank possible at MERT. This is achieved by completing one tryout, or earning 15 points through patrols.
- Field Companions will have the ability to have a basic pistol.
- Field Companions will have access to a more powerful extinguisher, and access to the building fire sprinklers.
- Field Companions will have the ability to guide trainees and visitors on their tasks.
- Field Companions will have access to a fire protection shield and uniform.
Field Operator
A field operator is the third obtainable MERT rank, at 100 points. This can be achieved by attending patrols or trainings.
Field Operators will have everything a companion has, including:
- Access to lockdown and raise lockdowns to singular rooms and doors.
- A superior arsenal to that of companions
- Operators are allowed to co-host tryouts and patrols, though they will not achieve any points.*
- Operators have the ability to guide trainees, visitors, and companions on their duties.
- Operators will for the time being - have the ability to handle join requests for the group.*
Star = Will test to see if these perks work or not in a test phase.
Trainer
A trainer is an administrator in MERT. They have access to administrative commands in-game and in the communications server. They can also host trainings, tryouts, and patrols. To obtain this rank, you must first have 150 points and be handpicked. Certain exceptions may apply*
- Trainers will have administrator permissions in MERT.
