I am making custom character is custom animation of walk, run, jump, fall and more. I do have created custom character by following detail provided in Avatar Importer article. I also have created four custom animation and would like to import it in studio.
First issue I’m facing is when importing character in Roblox Studio using Avatar Importer, it takes only first animation pose which is not ideal and it looks bad. Second issue I’m facing it when importing fbx in Animation Editor, it only imports first animation but not other.
Update 1
As you can see in picture below, I have selected the (Idea) animation, but when importing character into roblox, it selects initial pose from (Fall) animation, and also when importing animatio in Roblox Animation Editor, it only imports (Fall) animation…
Hi there,
I think FBX Animation has nothing to do with code. I’m exporting character from Blender rigged perfectly with animation and importing into Roblox. For character I’m using Avatar Importer and for FBX Animation I’m using Roblox Buitl-in animation editor…
It does seem that the animation editor FBX import only imports one single animation. As you also told me in PM, the hack around this is to import one by one. In Blender the animation with a star on the left of it in NLA editor is the one which will be imported to Roblox.
