Greetings. I have 2 monitors which i use. Monitor 2 is the monitor Roblox keeps opening on which I do not want happening. Monitor one is the correct main display I was Roblox opening on.
Roblox keeps opening on the wrong monitor. I tried following solutions provided for Roblox, and other games, such as pressing WK > shift > enter. Nothing worked. I have come here to report a bug and hopefully get a fix.
Hi, I did a quick one second search on the internet and found this article, not about Roblox but basically about the same problem. Just replace “Nvidia” with “Roblox.”
And if you’re too lazy to click on the link here is the important step:
Steps
Hey there! Try right clicking desktop go to “display settings” then pick which screen you want the game to display on (“Identify” to see which is which) then there is a tick box to “Make main display”. that should make all games go to that screen. If it does not, there are some cases where only 1920x1080 resolution games will play on certain screens.
You also can try the following:
Turn off the computer
Unplugged the HDMI cord from my main monitor and GPU.
Move the DVI cord for Monitor2 from DVI port 1 (top) to DVI port 2 (bottom) on the GPU.
Run the second DVI cord from the main monitor to the GPU and plug it into port 1 (top).
Turn computer back on.
Make sure the main monitor is set to primary, and make sure the left monitor is set to be on the left side in the display settings.
Open Nvidia X Server Settings and make sure all the settings matched up.
Launch a game and it should be on the primary screen.
This works, HOWEVER, it DOES disable the secondary (left) monitor while you play. But when you close out of the game, it should re-enable the monitor.
This problem is also not unique to Roblox. Anything can have this. Cheers. (*°∀°)=3
Greetings. For anyone experiencing this issue, this article really helped me! Once you reopen it after minimizing, it will be in half size, just make Roblox full screen and everything should be set!
