Music Database FAQ!

FAQ For Music Database

The official FAQ for the Music Database I created! Make sure to come back regularly to check for new questions you might have that we answered here.

Q1: Why isn't the music playing?

There are multiple reasons music could not be playing:
  • The audio was deleted/moderated by Roblox
  • The audio couldn't load successfully from Roblox to our Database
  • Possible script error??? If that's the case it will be fixed immediately (make sure to report bugs!)

Q2: The posters aren't loading...

If the Music posters aren't loaded it's either because Roblox has moderated them (if that's the case, a temporary poster will show up) or because the poster hasn't fully loaded from Roblox onto our place (once again, a temporary poster will show up meanwhile the real poster loads, once it does the temporary poster is deleted)

Q3: Some of the information is inaccurate (song name, artist name/city)

Sorry! Make sure to report them! All mistakes and inaccuracies are corrected as soon as we notice them.

Q4: For a database, there doesn't seem to be a lot of songs

Obviously, due to the fact that we specialize in rap/drill, it is hard to find new audio that aligns with Roblox Community Rules. Obviously, we are always searching for new audio and constantly updating our Database.

Q5: When I change the volume, there's a small delay/no difference

The delay in the change of volume is due to Roblox limitations with while true do loops (to prevent infinite yielding and script execution exhaustion), we'll find a better solution soon enough. For volume 7+ there doesn't seem to be any important difference on Roblox API, there's nothing we can really do about that.

That’s the end of the FAQ! Here’s more information for those interested:

Whenever you play audio, you get information about the song and the artist(s) who made the song: song name, artist(s) name, and ***artist*** city.

Song name: name of the song

Artist(s) name(s): name of the artist(s)

Artists(s) city/cities: the city of the artist(s) (where they were born/grew up)

If the uploader of audio put auditory credit on their audio, we did not cut it out. For all others, we will be introducing a list of all the audio we use

Thanks for reading
