  1. Not a bug
  2. If it was a bug it would probably belong under #bug-reports:website-bugs as it’s, well, a website “issue” and not an engine one
  3. The reason this is most likely happening is probably because one or more people have made song(s) with soundtrap or using soundtrap samples and then put them up on streaming or whatever and had their distribution services put their songs under assorted content ID things, leading to this happening (your songs likely have similar/same samples to aformentioned content ID’d soundtrap content)

I agree with @cpguy5089.

It is possible you used a sample loop in your track where it was “bare” enough that it matched with someone else’s song (which used the same sample) that had been uploaded to a content ID system like AudibleMagic. Roblox’s system received a “match” and yours was blocked.

All these systems do is match pieces of audio from one file to another: they don’t understand copyright law :frowning:

You should be able to ask Roblox to reconsider the block, explaining where the content came from, and get your track unblocked.

Thanks for the report! We’ll follow up when we have an update for you;

Hi @vegeta1833, thanks for filing a bug report.

Since the audio file has been removed from our systems I can’t verify for sure but as cpguy5089 and OffGridDude say, there is probably a sample used in your audio that is used in another song. This would then cause the audio you uploaded to caught by our systems and removed.

You could try asking support to take another look but since our human moderators don’t know every single copyrighted song in existence it is impossible for them to verify if the uploaded audio is an original or not. We also do not have tools to verify ownership of audio in Roblox.

Sorry this is probably not the solution you wanted but hopefully I was able to provide some more insight into why your audio was taken down.

Thanks,
