My 2-Factor Authentication Is Locked

I’m at my wits end here. My phone with Google Authenticator went kaput and I lost access to the Authenticator. I got a new phone, but none of the Authenticator data transferred and I can no longer access my Roblox account on my other devices/Studio. I am only logged in on the site and should I happen to log out I will never be able to access my 10+ year old account again.

Support was completely unhelpful and didn’t even try to tell me the problem was unsolvable, they just completely ignored it and sent me the 2-factor authentication help page. I have all other info associated with the account, including billing info and I’ve DevEx’d before. I have no clue what I’m going to do here or if there’s anything possible. The backup codes for the account were also stored on this phone.

This is a matter of my very livelihood at stake here, and it’s incredibly worrying to see my interaction with support has been nothing but ignorant apathy.

Do you still remember the password for your account? Perhaps you can change the method for verifying your changes to confirming your password.

Nope. This is not possible. Anything related to modifying the 2FA settings is locked by a 2FA check AND the account PIN. I don’t see the point of an account PIN if every account setting (including password changes and the like) is locked behind 2FA checks.

The PIN is there to be a parental control setting.
Its not meant for security and is easy to crack anyway into if somebody knew what to do.

About being locked out of 2FA, I’d say contacting customer support is the best you’re gonna get.
Try to provide as much proof of ownership as possible.
That’s the most I can really come up with that will possibly get you full access again.

I think you could give them the card you’ve used for any past robux purchases but try to keep it as a last resort.
