My 2nd (non-free model) build in Roblox Studio

I would like to have some feedback and suggestions about what I can do to make things better and/or fixing something that doesn’t look right in this build.
I just started building today, so I’m not that familiar with the tools.
If you make a suggestion, it will help me if you provide instructions on how to perform that task (example: use the scaling tool to make things bigger)
Update (5/3/2021): I don’t really need any more help on this, because it’s a really old build and I’ve already improved it a lot. Feel free to leave feedback though! I won’t ignore it.

Pretty ok, although there are a couple things that should be changed:

  • Increase the roof height, it feels a really unnatural to have a roof the small height of that (Especially with the lighting almost close to your head)

  • Add more supporting beams (I swear if that thing falls on my head)

  • A bit more decorations could be implemented to convey what the setting is, and won’t feel bland that way

  • Adding a onstage curtain would be nice as well

Overall, it’s alright for a 2nd build! :ok_hand:

Thank you for the feedback, I will add more supporting beams and increase the roof height. Also, I did think about adding a curtain but I actually have no idea how to make a curtain in Roblox Studio.

I’ve changed some things:

  • The back wall is now brick texture
  • The roof & lighting has been raised a few studs
  • Decorated the lighting a bit more
  • Moved the stools closer to the microphone
  • Added a water bottle (small decoration)
This is still a WIP so I might add more things, feel free to suggest things.

Wow, that’s amazing! If there’s anything that I could recommend you adding, it would be maybe some decorations. Its looking a little bare right now. Other then that, pretty amazing build!

More changes:

  • Added walls
  • Finally learned how to make curtains (suggestion made by Jackscarlett)
  • Banana painting & TV in the background for decoration
  • Raised the microphone to be more realistic (the roblox characters are taller than I thought)

Now you have this, you’ve done a good job so far. Start adding details onto the pillars on the side. If anything, I think woodplanks isn’t a good material for them, try to use metal instead.

its too bland maybe use different colors and the wedge use is great tbh but it looks out of place and the lights are too thick maybe use both a block and a cylinder to create a tube and use multiple to add some depth and the white thing is supposed to be an album cover? make a black border around it and add a pic i guess and the roof looks too similar to everything and maybe add a wall edge thing and the pillar add some depth and the texture choice is weird

For a first build, that’s really good.

Agreed! That must’ve took a lot of time and effort :o

I’d say it’s fine. Add some more lighting. Also, what is this model supposed to be?

I would assume that its some sort of stage.
