A few days ago I made a game where players can run local scripts they write for fun. A few years ago there used to be a lot of so called scripts builders where players can run server code. Back then I made a game like that that used a VM executor. After a few years roblox changed their mind and banned the main server sides so I privated mine, thinking that it wouldn’t cause any problems. Recently I got randomly recommended this game: Free Client Script Executor - Roblox its a client sided script builder that didn’t have any problems with roblox moderation. I assumed that roblox has no problem with this since it doesn’t give players any more power than they already have. Exploiters gain no advantage in my game, unlike in many others, like: Client Replication - Roblox where exploiters have the same power as before FE. I decided to make a game similar to the basic client side executor but more refined with debug tools and such. I got lucky and without inviting anybody, players started joining from roblox search. Today the game got taken down and I got banned for 3 days for the ModuleScript my old server sided script-builder used which is completely unrelated to the client sided game. Why did my much smaller game get taken down and the popular one didn’t? I would love to see a roblox staff / moderation member clarify this. What is allowed and what isn’t? How can I safely delete my old server-side modules that used to fine but longer are without drawing attention of moderation-bots and risk geting deleted in the future? Here is my game: Free Client Script Executor - Roblox
I got terminated for approximately the same reason
Because of a serverside Roblox GUI (Admin only)
Mine is not server side tho. I also found out in a roblox message that the game got supposedly taken down for Discrimination, Slurs, and Hate Speech? How does that even happen? Its literally just a local script runner and the players in it were chill
