As of right now, my cash grab “Money Spread Simulator” is sitting at around 3-4% for D1 retention. That’s pretty garbage and is holding the game back from getting blessed by the algorithm gods.
Some notes I have:
- The loading screen may be too long, which is true but I need this to initialize parts that don’t load immediately or take too long for the WaitForChild method. If there’s any other alternatives let me know please.
- The first world may be too hard for the players to stay interested? I don’t know, I can’t accurately test that.
If you have suggestions that would help retention, please list them below! Thank you.

I think players should probably know what the name means, I dont know about you but I have no idea what it means to “money spread” is, and most kids probably wont.
More emojis should be in the desc, and you should probably have badges.
From looking at it this sounds like a more of a mature idea, kids like cute little games where pets smash money, or you work out, etc. Simple light hearted concepts like that, your game looks like you’d be some kinda gangster and the first thing I though was da hood so not to good.

Thanks for your reply and feedback! I agree that some people may be confused on the title, however, when I mean retention I mean people returning after their first play.
Getting players is not the problem currently, keeping them is. Gameplay, is likely the reason but I can’t pinpoint what’s lacking.

Do you mind explaining how it broke? I haven’t experienced any bugs yet. Disabling ressets is to prevent any scripts from breaking, plus this game doesn’t require you to reset.

Reset is a good tool for players to use when scripts do end up breaking. So you’ve disabled an important tool for players. You can make your scripts handle resets.
