Basically I submitted my Devex request and it has been declined 26 days ago due to the name not being the same from my previous Devex. I then contacted Roblox support 2 days later meaning 24 days ago to get that resolved and got a response 15 days later saying that the name didn’t match my 2 previous Devex and that I needed to provide the reasons of the name change and their relationship within a day. I replied by giving all the information a few hours later and now it’s been 9 days since they haven’t replied and it’s really stressful since they took a lot of time to reply and I really need that Devex to be accepted as soon as possible after waiting for almost a month.
Is there anything I can do and has anyone ever experienced it ? By the way, it’s my first devex on this account and I put my own name
To resolve this, Roblox must have sent you an email regarding you to make a DevEx Portal for the first time. Closely read the salutations. It will be something like “Dear [First Name] [Last Name], we are happy to announce that…” Your DevEx request has been cancelled because the name mentioned in the email does not match the name you put in your DevEx Portal. Also, the name you put in the Tipalti portal has to match your name on the Tax Forms.
Again, just to be clear, the three names that have to be matched are: (1) The salutation name mentioned by Roblox on the email, (2) Your legal first and last name on the first page of the Tipalti signing up page, (3) The name on your tax forms.
Now, if you have different names, you have to open a customer service ticket to Roblox and ask for name change. Hopefully this resolves your issue.
This is a separate issue, but I’ve been waiting 11 days for them to even respond to my ticket. My DevEx application was denied under vague circumstances despite meeting all criteria and I’ve seen people say they were ignored for months now.
Sorry for reviving this old ticket. The problem I faced was I had verified myself using my Government ID to access the Camera and Microphone features. I later wanted to DevEx but did not have anything for tax forms or other stuff because I am an immigrant to the country I am living in. Therefore, I requested a name change for which they denied me because they claimed I had already verified myself using a Government ID so changing credentials in their system was not possible.
Hey I got a response from roblox and thanksfully I was able to verify my identity and therefore devex again. Did you get your situation fixed by the way?
My issue was unfortunately never fixed. On top of that I got hacked and lost all Robux. Of course, Roblox being Roblox, they are also not willing to refund a single one of my Robux.
